I only made it to 3 of the King Tuts shows at the weekend but as a result I've regressed to 19 year old Idlewild fan this Christmas. And I've lost my voice.

I posted this last week, but I've added the remote part shirt now the month limit has gone:

First ones got about 4 days left, second a full ten day listing.

How is everyone by the way? its very quiet round here these days. Understandable, with the current lack of activity from the 'wild camp, I suppose, but there you are.

I get the impression that Roddy Woomble reads a lot of literary theory before he writes song lyrics.

who's drumming on the american leg? [11 Sep 2005|02:19pm]

hi folks.

in my defense on asking this question, until this week i hadn't seen the band live since 2001 when they opened for placebo and i was just starting to get into them. and i was pretty far back from the stage.

so the question is, who's drumming on the american leg of the tour? i saw the band twice this week, and assumed (after roddy's mention of john ferguson in his diary on the official site) that colin newton was still on paternity leave. however, i find myself wondering if the drummer was actually just colin with a hair cut. i suppose i could have just asked him outside philly, but somehow that seems rude. "so. are you the tour drummer or did you just cut your hair?"

for the record, the nyc show was fantastic and the philadelphia show even moreso. if you live in the states and can get to a show, run, don't walk!

I just joined.
I'm pretty bored and I'm in no communities on LiveJournal and since Idlewild are my favourite band, I decided to join this randomly, bahaha :)

SO two Thursday's ago, I received un phonecall saying I'd won a pair of tickets of only 50 pairs for the Coca-Cola Centrestage gig in Glasgow Carling Academy, in which Idlewild were headlining with an accoustic set.

AYE, so I thought I would post a couple of photo's I took.

Warning / Promises on iTunes? [29 May 2005|12:32pm]

Does anyone know if the Warning / Promises album is on iTunes? I can't seem to find it (with exception of a single), but I had this problem in the past with another band of mine and it turned out iTunes was entering their name differently than I was -- and as a result I was finding NOTHING for that band. Kind of hoping someone knows something I don't because I want to purchase the CD via iTunes!
